Environmental Awareness

Very recently, Environmental Awareness is something I have begun to incorporate into my art. This began with a class that changed my life around. The Earth, my place in it and my effect on other forms of life has gone from something I thought about once in a blue moon, to something that never leaves my mind. It is only normal that the sustainable choices that I am beginning to make will be reflected in my art since art is such a huge part of my life. As I continue to do research I am overwhelmed with information that I feel should be common knowledge. Unfortunately we externalize this knowledge and somehow forget, ignore or are simply unaware of it. This results in me having a million ideas of how to show people these things that have become ambient in our culture. I am just beginning to work through these ideas.
