Step 1: Fold square paper into 8 different sections. Do this by folding in half hamburger way, then unfolding and folding it hot dog way, then unfold and fold diagonally, then unfold and fold diagonally again.
Step 2: Write your name (or some one else’s name if it will be a gift) on your triangle template. Make sure each letter stretches from the top to the bottom. You may have to try a few times to make it even. Trace through onto backside of template (so you have a mirror image)
Step 3: cover one side of a blank template (or a used, messed up template) with graphite. Use the edge of your pencil for this.
Step 4: line up both your name template and your graphite colored template together over one triangle of your square paper. Use a pencil to trace HARD over your name design. FLIP over the name design so you have the mirror image and line up on the next triangle. REPEAT. Keep doing this flipping your design on every other triangle.
* note- you may need to add more graphite every so often.
Step 5: Color your name design in a cool pattern. Repeat the same pattern all the way around the square.
